BioEdge Review

I have spent a lot of time over the last several years using soft baits that are scent impregnated, and have had quite a lot of success. This season, I have been using more hard baits and some non-scented soft baits. I am a believer that if the bait acts, sounds and smells like the real bait, an angler will have great success. That is when I found out about BioEdge and realized I can use it on my non-scented soft baits and hard baits.

BioEdge has a variety of fish attracting scents that contain oils, amino acids, enzymes and pheromones all found in the bait from which they were extracted. There are no artificial ingredients in BioEdge products. Currently, there are 23 different scents with more in development. The BioEdge scents are available either in a potion, which is packaged as a 2 ounce liquid, or a wand which is similar to a glue stick. BioEdge fish attracting scents will also mask any unwanted scents from your baits such as sunscreen or other non-natural scents.

The potion is a liquid in a 2 ounce squirt bottle that can be used on soft plastic baits to add scent and pheromones, or it can be used on live or dead bait if you desire. I have soaked my soft plastic baits in Bioedge potions and had great success with Redfish, Trout, Bluefish, Snapper and many more game fish. I have also used it on jigs and flies with success, but have yet to try it on live or dead bait.

My favorite type of fishing is topwater. However, I am a believer that a game fish is attracted to scent, as well as the bait's action and the noise produced by the bait. I have been using a BioEdge Mullet Wand on my topwater baits this fall around the schools of Mullet in the Indian River, around Sebastian Inlet. I have been catching more big Trout, Snook, Redfish, Jacks, Tarpon and many more types of fish. I feel that the BioEdge scents have given me the edge over other anglers using topwater baits without the scents and pheromones.

I am a big believer in BioEdge products since I started using them. They stay on the bait for a long time, no artificial ingredients, and they have a real smell to mask any unwanted scents that may be on your baits. On top of it all, I have had a lot of success on the water and my catches have improved since using BioEdge products.
