Here at Hall Em Lures we create a top quality wooden lure made with the best products available. These lures are hand made and produced to the best of our ability and we take pride in our work and products. The bottom line being that we create top notch, high quality lures that are proven to catch a wide variety of fish, from salt to fresh water. Not only do these wooden lures have a very unique action in every plug, but they hold up well fish after fish. Because of the personal touch applied to each lure we can only produce so many. We try to stay ahead of the orders but sometimes it’s just not possible. So, please be patient with us on back ordered products.
Tackle boxes have been at the heart of fishing since the mid 1800's - our tackle boxes are replicated from an original tackle box that was made around the early 1900's in central Florida by an individual that was making these by hand for a local fish camp. We got our hands on an original and tried to improve on the design. The standard woods used for the tackle boxes are Spanish cedar, Mahogany and American cherry. Other boxes have been made out of Brazilian cherry and Bolivian Rosewood, but are more expensive because of the rarity of the wood. These tackle boxes are all hand crafted and each take about 50-60 hours to complete.

These are definitely works of art - each one is unique and I find it hard to let go of them when finished because they are like my kids. These custom wooden tackle boxes are strictly made to order - we only turn out 25 of these each year. Generally, it takes about 6-8 weeks before shipping.

Folks,

This comes from the FWC - some parts of Lake Monroe, you'll have to yourselves, and some parts of the St Johns are off-limits to everybody.

Here's a map of the area
August 25, 2008
Contact: Joy Hill 352-732-1225 or 352-258-3426

Due to high water levels in the St. Johns River associated with Tropical Storm Fay, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has enacted an emergency rule establishing idle-speed, no-wake and no vessel zones on portions of the St. Johns River in Volusia, Seminole, Orange and Brevard counties. The rule is in effect immediately.

The emergency rule creates an idle-speed, no-wake zone beginning 6,000 feet north and west of the Interstate 4 Bridge to the southern end of Lake Monroe.

The rule also prohibits vessels from operating on all waters within the St. Johns River, its associated lakes and its tributaries south and east of Lake Monroe.

Individuals may be authorized by law enforcement to enter the area for the purpose of hazardous debris removal. People who reside on the water within the affected areas may traverse these waters but they must proceed directly to and from their properties without delays or diversions; proceed only at idle-speed, no-wake; and carry proof of residency and have it available for inspection in the vessel.

The rule will be in effect for 90 days or until flooding conditions have sufficiently abated so that the restrictions are no longer justified.
