            <description><![CDATA[ <strong class="bbcode">TLK - End of Year December 2009 Tournament</strong> <br />

Catch, Photo and Enter, Release is encouraged, but if its legal it's your choice. <br />
Fish must be caught November 26th 2009 through January 3rd 2010. <br />
<br />
Snook + Redfish + Spotted Sea Trout --- Total length of your longest 3 fish (one of each species) <br />
<br />
<strong class="bbcode">New Twist One Time ---  Wild-Card Fish --- Tarpon or Bonefish:</strong><br />
You may use either of the above, not both, to replace any scoring category fish, Snook/Red/Trout, and receive points for the upper slot limit size "SE Florida Rules", of that category fish.<br />
Wild-Card Fish Sizes/Points:<br />
Snook - 32<br />
Redfish - 27<br />
Trout - 20<br />
You may declare you intention to use a <strong class="bbcode">Wild Card</strong> at any time during the tournament <strong class="bbcode">Prior to 12/25/09 midnight</strong> of Christmas day, <br />
you must do so within 48 hours of catching the Wild Card fish, Photo with Token Required.<br />
When submitting your Wild-Card entry you must specify which entry fish you are replacing,<br />
Once you have used your Wild-card Fish, you cannot later re-submit a larger fish of either the category fish. <br />

The Score/Leader Board in this thread will be updated showing each Angler's Token #. <br />
This Token must appear in each photo entered. <br />
Note: Anglers registering after 11/25/09 may have a 24 to 48 hour delay receiving their Token while processing. <br />

<strong class="bbcode">Final entries must be posted in this thread by 8:00AM EST Monday January 4th. to qualify.</strong> On Saturday, January 9th, we'll have a get together at Round Island Park West, <br />
Fish if you wish, fun day and TLK 2010 kickoff. Meet and greet the crew and other yak'sters. <br />
Launch any time you wish, Offshore guys can launch on the East side from the beach. <br />
The get together and kickoff off party will start around 1:00PM, food and drinks, <br />
TLK 2010 Tournament series will be discussed, as much BS as can he dished, wrap up by 3:00PM and on the road home. <br />
You do not need to be present to win. <br />

<strong class="bbcode">Rules:</strong> <br />
1) All fish must be caught and landed from/in/on a kayak or canoe, (paddle/peddle craft only), unassisted by the Angler entering the fish. No assistance except taking the photo. <br />
2) Catch, Photo, & post photo as your Entry, on this thread. <br />
3) All entries must be posted on this site within 48 hours of the catch except your final entry from 1/3/10 which must be posted by 8:00AM 1/4/2010 <br />
4) Participants must be TLK members to Register for the tournament <br />
5) Tournament Judge has final decision on entry points/inches, (1 point per inch, half inch increments), awarded <br />
6) In the event of a Tie the angler posting the longest total length first will be declared the winner, second tie break if needed longest Trout caught first. <br />

1) Post your photo-entry on this Tournament thread (plz. do not post the size you think it is) <br />
2) The judges will verify the photo, we may request original photo by email if needed, and notify you of the verified size via PM <br />
3) If you disagree with the judges decision reply to the PM within 24 hours <br />
4) The Score board will be updated, soon after an agreement reply is received or 24 hours expires. <br />

Post a single photo showing the Full Fish, Clearly Visible Lips to Tail & Legible on a measuring device, with your tournament Token and some part of your kayak/canoe visible. <br />
No photo editing, including spot masking, allowed, any evidence of photo editing will disqualify the entry. <br />

All fish measured by natural lay on your measuring device, no visible pinching of the tail. <br />
Overall length, rounded down to the nearest half-inch, 1 point per Inch awarded, <br />
as verified by the tournament director or his/her assistant. <br />

Total Length of your 3 longest fish entered, one fish per species<br />
<br />
Fish must be caught April 1st through April 30th 2009<br />

$20.00 per Angler to enter the Main Event<br />
<br />

<strong class="bbcode">Why is my name not on the board, I registered an hour ago ?</strong> Your name will be posted on the Score/Leader board as soon as your registration/application has been processed, its a manual process that takes up to 48 hours from time of submission. Always a good idea to register early.<br />

<strong class="bbcode">Why is my token "xxx" ?</strong> Your payment has not cleared the accounting system, If you received your token via email, you are in go fish, I'll catch up with the board before you catch a fish.<br />

<strong class="bbcode">Is an official measuring board required ?</strong> No, the only requirement is that the TLK judging staff can visibly make a decision on the length of your fish in inches. The measurement will be done to the best of our ability.<br />

<strong class="bbcode">Why is my score not posted ?</strong>, As soon after the judge gets online, usualy several times a day, and see the post.. said judge will send a PM with the length, you the angler has 24 hours to respond with an agreement on the decision. The score board will be updated as soon after the judge sees the response, or the 24 hours has passed.]]></description>

This tournament is being organized for the benefit of our friend and fellow angler Special Ed. Some of you may know him from other fishing boards, Ed is thirty six years old and has recently suffered a stroke. <br />

All proceeds from this tournament will be donated to Ed's family to help them through this troubled time. TLK and Ed's family thank all of you in advance for your help. Keep checking this post for updates about Ed's recovery and the prize list.<br />

On Saturday, January 10th, we'll have a get together at Round Island Park West,<br />
Fish if you wish, fun day and TLK 2009 kickoff. Meet and greet the crew and other yak'sters.<br />
Launch any time you wish, Offshore guys can launch on the East side from the beach.<br />
The get together and kickoff off party will start around 1:00PM, food and drinks,<br />
December Winners crowned at 2:00PM,  wrap up around 3:00PM and on the road home. <br />
You do not need to be present to win. <br />

<br />
<strong class="bbcode">Rules:</strong> <br />
1) All fish must be caught and landed from/in/on a kayak or canoe, (paddle/peddle craft only), unassisted by the Angler entering the fish. No assistance except taking the photo.<br />
2) Catch, Photo, & post photo as your Entry, on this thread.<br />
3) All entries must be posted on this site within 48 hours of the catch except your final entry from 12/31 which must be posted by 4:00PM 1/1/2009 <br />
4) Participants must be TLK members to participate (Register in the forum to sign up and play) <br />
5) Tournament Judge has final decision on entry points/inches, (1 point per inch), awarded<br />
6) In the event of a Tie the angler posting the longest total length first will be declared the winner, second tie break if needed longest Trout caught first.<br />

<strong class="bbcode">Entry Process:</strong> <br />
1) Post your photo-entry on this Tournament thread (plz. do not post the size you think it is) <br />
2) The judges will verify the photo and may request original photo by email if needed, notify you of the verified size via PM <br />
3) If you disagree with the judges decision reply to the PM within 24 hours <br />
4) The Score board will be updated.<br />

Post a single photo showing the Full Fish, Clearly Visible Lips to Tail & Legible measuring device, with your tournament Token and some part of your kayak/canoe visible. <br />
No photo editing, including spot masking, allowed, any evidence of photo editing will disqualify the entry.<br />

<strong class="bbcode">Measurements:</strong> <br />
All fish measured by natural lay on your measuring device, no pinched tail.<br />
Overall length, rounded down to the nearest half-inch, 1 point per Inch awarded,<br />
as verified by the tournament director or his/her assistant. <br />

            <description><![CDATA[ Tight Lines Kayaking - August 2008 Points Tournament <br />
Catch, Photo and Enter, Release is encouraged, but it's your choice. <br />
Saturday August 9th through Saturday September 6th. <br />
<br />
On Saturday, September 6th, we will be fishing in a common area with an Awards meeting afterwards.<br />
Only Anglers present on Sept. 6th can enter fish towards their points that day, all other entries must be posted <br />
on the web-site before 6pm on Friday September 5th to be eligible for points. <br />

Round Island ramps/launch site<br />
You can launch any time you wish<br />
Check in at the parking lot area between the Kayak drop off and the Boat Ramp.<br />
Check in 1:00PM sharp.</strong><br />

Each Angler is assigned a unique Tournament Token #, the token will arrive in an Email, as soon as you are approved by the tournament registration director.<br />
The tournament token is the TLK logo with your Angler # printed in the center<br />
This Token must appear in each photo entered. <br />
This thread will be updated showing Angler, Token #, and Total Points. <br />
<br />
[b<strong class="bbcode">]Highest Point total wins.</strong> <br />
Prize Packages will be awarded depending on the number of Anglers participating.[/b] <br />
<strong class="bbcode">1-8 Anglers 1st place prize package will be awarded only.</strong> <br />
